Our History
Wakaw Lake Regional Park was officially established in 1965, born from a shared vision to create a welcoming recreation destination for the region. Over the decades, the park has grown from a quiet lakeside retreat into a vibrant hub offering modern amenities, a championship golf course, a bustling marina, and countless family-friendly activities.
Thanks to community support, passionate volunteers, and generations of visitors, Wakaw Lake Regional Park remains a treasured spot where old traditions are honoured and new memories are made every summer.

- Golfing: Our scenic nine-hole golf course offers stunning lake views, a 3,300 sq. ft. clubhouse, pro shop, and licensed dining at The Crooked Club.
- Marina: Enjoy 56 boat slips, a public boat launch, and a fully serviced gas dock to fuel your lake adventures.
- Dining: Grab a hearty meal at The Crooked Club or a sweet treat at Little Kahuna’s right by the beach.

The park operates seasonally from May 1st through September 30th. The golf course operates until Thanksgiving weekend, weather permitting.
